Ajith’s birthday interview

Ajith’s birthday interview

Ajith celebrates his 41st birthday today. He said he has been in the film industry for the past 20 years. He has given some hits and some flops. Some of his decisions have been good; some bad. He has taken these experiences as part of life as he believes in destiny. He thinks life is a great gift and wants it to be meaningful. He has no great goals and believes that what is destined to happen will happen.
If the formula for creating a successful film is known, all films will be hits, says Ajith. A film’s success depends on many factors and it is a team effort. Once he signs a film, he said he does not interfere in any of the aspects of the film.
Ajith agrees with Vijay that they both are competitors in their profession but in real life, they are friends. Ajith’s wife Shalini and Vijay’s wife Sangeetha are friends too. So, Ajith feels hurt by rumours saying that there is antagonism between him and Vijay .
His wife Shalini does not interfere with his profession and is very supportive. Ajith is very fond of cooking and learnt the art from his mother.
Many happy returns of the day, Ajith!!!

A trip down memory lane………….
Ajith is very bold in voicing his opinions. There was a time when he felt his fans are wasting their time in fan clubs and he advised them to take care of their families. Still, his fans have encouraged him till date. Success has not gone to his head and he is still down-to-earth. He loves his family and keeps to himself.
Before entering film world, Ajith was a mechanic and a racer. He appeared in some commercials. Ajith got an opening in the Telugu movie”Prema Pustakam”. His first Tamil movie was “Amaravathi”. Later on, he featured in many movies and became a leading actor. He has his own style and his success story still continues.
Ajith’s fans expect him to involve in social service activities like providing medical and educational facilities to the kith and kin of his fans or encouraging youngsters who are interested in sports. On his birthday, his fans expect such promises from their “thala”.

Simon Cowell has said that George Clooney might be handsome enough to take the starring role in a film about him only if he had “a bit of Botox”.

The 52-year-old made the quips at the launch party for Tom Bower’s biography of him, which includes revelations of an affair with Dannii Minogue, a crush on Cheryl Cole and his penchant for black loo roll.

“I used to say Mel Gibson should play me, but he is not so good-looking any more,” the Daily Mail quoted him as saying.

“Obviously it would have to be somebody very good-looking,” he added

Michael Jackson yearned for Whitney Houston until his death'

Michael Jackson yearned for Whitney Houston until his death'
29-04-2012,06:09:44 PMIST

Michael Jackson had a secret fling with Whitney Houston at the peak of her fame and even dreamt of getting married to her, it has been revealed.

The King of Pop is said to have fallen in love with the diva after a series of romps at his Neverland ranch and never got over her when she ended it.

Their sensational affair came six years after Houston slept with his older brother Jermaine.

The passion between two of the world’s most tragic stars is among a string of revelations about Jackson’s crazed life.

Jacko’s British bodyguard, who spoke to him three days before his death, last night lifted the lid on his most intimate secrets in a world exclusive interview on Saturday.

“I loved Michael so much but I finally feel it’s time to get everything that horrified and upset me over the years off my chest,” the Sun quoted multi-millionaire martial arts master Matt Fiddes as saying.

“I also know this affair will end all the myths that Michael was some kind of child molester — he was a straight man,” he said.

Fiddes also told how the late singer was impotent for years because of his huge intake of drugs and booze, was a nazi sympathiser who needed psychiatric “re-programming”, a desperate attention-seeker, haunted by baldness, anorexic and riddled with needle marks he dismissed as “spider bites”.

“One of the many stories that has never been told about Michael is that he had an ultra-secret affair with Whitney Houston that he never got over.

“He was furious when he heard she had also slept with Jermaine but this didn’t stop him holding a candle for her his whole life,” Fiddes said.

The 32-year-old said that Michael and Whitney met in 1991, when they were both global superstars. Jacko, then 33, had just renewed his recording contract with Sony for a record 40 million pounds.

Whitney, yet to spiral into crack cocaine addiction, was 28 and riding high on the worldwide success of her debut album which shifted 25 million copies and contained mammoth hits including ‘Saving All My Love For You’ and ‘How Will I Know’.

“They met because they were two of the biggest recording artists on the planet and mixing in the same circles. They instantly connected as kindred spirits because they understood each other’s massive fame.

“Whitney practically moved in to Michael’s ranch and they had a fling like any other young couple. But Michael said later he had always hoped the relationship had gone further, and I know he dreamed of marrying her,” he said.

The love affair only lasted two weeks but Jacko never forgot his love for Whitney. A year later she was married to Bobby Brown the man some blamed for sending her into a downward spiral of addiction.

But ten years later Michael and Whitney had a tearful reunion at the 2001 concerts at New York’s Madison Square Garden to celebrate his 30 years in pop.

“They were both a mess, to be honest. They shared what would be their final hugs and Michael begged Whitney to get off the drugs that were destroying her life.

“The two of them whispered that they loved each other as they hugged. The emotion was written all over their faces,” he said.

Michael embraced Whitney at the show despite his bitterness over her year-long affair with his older brother before they met.

Jermaine, now 57, had his fling from 1984 to 85, though he was married to Hazel Gordy, daughter of Motown founder Berry.

Michael and Whitney then went on to die in horrifically similar circumstances — alone and hooked on drugs.

Karthi a tough competitor for Ajith???

Karthi a tough competitor for Ajith???
Oscaar Ravichandran has bought the rights of “Billa 2” for an amazing 24 crores, which is a few crores more than Ajith’s earlier films.
While Kollywood is rejoicing with this happy news, eyebrows are being raised about another turn of events. Karthi’s “Sakuni” has been bought for 23 crores by Vendar Films which also released “Aravaan”. Does this mean Karthi is fastly approaching Ajith in popularity ?
